Since 2015, Chaucer Road has transformed paper into bespoke heirlooms to be treasured.  

Chaucer Road, named for the street Elizabeth grew up on, was born out of a passion for snail mail correspondence, wedding planning, and the tactile experience of paper that blurs the line between traditional and out of the ordinary. 

Not only are our creations a feast for the eyes, but you cannot help but want to touch and feel each of its custom characteristics, big and small.  We believe that wedding invitations should be an experience--no material, conventional or not, is out of the question.  Each wedding invitation is more than just a sum of its parts, and is instead a collection of details that will reflect a bride and groom and the tone of the biggest day of their lives.

Elizabeth’s mother was passionate about beautiful paper and office supplies, and Elizabeth fully inherited the trait--after every birthday and Christmas, when the last pieces of personalized stationery had been used for thank you notes, it meant an exciting trip to the local stationery shop.  Elizabeth loved getting to choose her own design and font for the next batch of stationery, and feels that same excitement today when working with clients to bring design details to life.   

Today, she resides in Pasadena with her young family.  When she is not designing paper (or thinking about it), she enjoys cooking and baking, visiting Kidspace with her son, eating out, listening to podcasts, coaching the cheer team at her alma mater high school, needlepointing, and traveling.
